I think anyone who considers clean their own sensor has probably read all the scary things we may encounter.I bought this kit mainly as a sample to see if it was something that I wish to continue to do the maintenance of cameras. My sensor was very dirty, especially in the upper corners which is obviously where the sky is in most pictures. So you are taking shots at the blue sky as a reference. You apply the liquid on the pad and sliding, once again your sensor. I have another set of test images of the sky, I realized that really moved the dust, but made huge smears (rather Globs dust) with it! So, I repeat the procedure, draw some more tests and found that the sensor has been almost completely clean. I left about 3 grains of dust.I'm not going to go crazy all the way down, and I was fine with the results. Thus, two smears were sufficient to satisfy me.
