Olympus E-30 Digital SLR Camera

The Olympus E-30 has a full feature set that should appeal to both consumers upgrade of Lower cameras and digital SLR buyers looking for something a smaller caliber semi-professional. The E-30 is sold as a kit ($ 1350 dated 7/7/09, including a 14mm to 54mm lens) and the only body ($ 950 as of 7/7/09).

Compared to its older sibling, the Olympus E3, E-30 has a smaller body and lighter weight. In this model, Olympus has sacrificed the weather, the housing of magnesium alloy for a plastic and fiberglass version, which may be a deal-breaker for photographers shooting tilted outward.The E-30 has a handy swiveling LCD screen so you can capture shots in odd angles, or even simply rotate and return it to the inside to protect it while you're away.

The E-30 enhances the image sensor 12.3 megapixels, 10 megapixels at E3. It also adds art filters, effects such as pinhole, soft snap, pop art, the tone and grainy. Although you can preview these effects in Live View, you can not change them in private.As for more practical features, the E-30 adds improved focus contrast detection in the body for stabilizing the vertical pan, and improved electronic AF adjustments for the elderly and third goals of the party.
