To meet user demand for a fast EF-S Zoom, Canon has specially designed a new lens with a wide aperture of f/2.8 for SLR digital Canon selected. The large circular aperture produces a shallow depth of field, creating background blur that draws attention to the photographic subject. The construction includes elements UD and aspherical lenses, which offer impressive image quality throughout the zoom range. Groups Lens Image Stabilizer to compensate for passing the camera movement so that the image appears steady on the image plane, ensuring clear, sharp images even in low light. With a Ring-type USM, inner focusing and new AF algorithms, this is achieved autofocusing quick and quiet, and with full time mechanical manual focus, manual adjustment of focus is possible even mode AF.
User Ratings and ReviewsI will not add much to what others have said on this site. This lens is worth it for the opening of 2.8 and IS. I also have the 10-22mm, a 28mm f1.8 is a major and 100-400 L zoom for wildlife. I had an XT XSi currently own and do not see that big camera companies will get rid of the APS-C, why would they? sensors are better. The pros always use Nikon D700, D3s and Canon EOS 1D and 5D with lenses L. the rest of us will be perfectly happy with the rebels, 50D and 7D cameras. They will understand. His behavior at low light? 7D and get this, the 28mm 1.8, 50mm 1.4 and 85mm 1.8. Cost is no object? Get a Full Frame and go. You must ask yourself what you want to do with digital SLR, what kind of pictures you will take and how much you spend. If you're on a budget, or Tli XSi and the kit lens. have a little more like a better quality? 7D and that goal plus some premium lenses and L. Cost is not an object?just get a Hasselblad H3DII-50. That $ 27,000! What a deal! Just remember, Photoshop can correct many errors and deficiencies. Also, Canon DPP, which ships with all Canon SLR fix aberrtion Chromatic all Canon lenses and distortion. APS-C cameras will be with us for long. And that goal is very good. Just get it. Check out my image of Muir Woods in the Images section of the Amazon. It is a kind of small, but full image shows small deer in the middle. This is an amazing lens. Nothing beats a quick opening.
