I have an SB-800 and a wireless trigger. I use my SB-800 on a stand and shoot through white 36 "umbrella. I really want to get another flash and another stand. Or even 2 more flashes? I look at the SB-600 and I am grateful prices i 'm finding Should I stick with using the SB series for studio / outdoor photography? I want to get a game Alienbee, but I do not know if it's worth it because I 'll go on location and shooting as well as in the studio. What do you recommend? What people use to do this kind of photography I want to improve?
I want to learn as much as I can, and I am interested in the details of set-up/type broadcasters / flash triggers / backdrop stands / Where to buy them. I think to spend about 00 on the flash / es and background. I want to get good stuff though. Shoul I save up more? haha sorry to ask so many years, but I have not experienced photographers who are willing to teach me the ropes of the photography studio.
For outdoor work, a flash that can be coupled bounced and diffused with reflectors, shade and sunlight should be enough to accomplish what you want.
