User Ratings and Reviews Wow, totally dig this flash! After using the flash from the owner of my D40 (and not happy with the results many times!) For 2 years, it's so refreshing and inspiring!I saw the reviews on Amazon with pictures of what this flash does and it totally delivered
Beautiful results to bounce the flash off the ceiling. It was an easy step great skills in pursuit of my hobby photog!
I have been using the device for 2 weeks and I am impressed by the improvements offered with indirect light bouncing off surfaces near vs. on-board unit. The ability of SB-400 to aim the flash at multiple angles is not very detailed in-store or official documentation when it is easily its greatest feature.I wish sometimes I Whent with flash with a bit more power and torque target, but I thought to learn the art was more important than the gadget. Overall, a simple no great improvement in my D5000 frills onboard flash.
