Canon using A Britek Hot shoe transmitter hurt my Rebel XS?
I am thinking about purchasing a lighting kit on craigslist, It is a three light set that are all wirelessly fired from a wireless transmitter from the hot shoe. Upon researching these lights I came across a blog. In one sentence of one post it said that
No, the transmitter won't hurt the camera.
There is this continuing and annoying belief that putting anything but a Canon EX flash in your hot shoe will make the camera turn into a black hole or something...
