Blast from the past – Road trips and finding places to photograph.

When the Big Bad Ass Leica S2 come for me to test, I knew I had to make a road trip to go in search of some new chills. It is a fact, shooting the same old things and can age very rapidly and kill your creativity. I also know there's nothing like making a road trip to start your mojo photography and motivation. The only problem I had was "where to go? After a day or two of heavy thought, I decided to do something that I wanted to do for a couple of years now, and that was to travel to a small spot in Kentucky where my father was born in 1939.

When my father was alive, he always told me stories of where he grew up and when I was little we would visit many occaisons. Only problem was that I was very very young when we went and I could not really remember what it was, but I do know it was a small mountain town with coal mines and winding roads and I thought it would be a great road trip to start my motivation. It has been decided. I wanted to go.
