Review: Canon PowerShot SD1200 IS…or…A Woman’s Perspective on Purchasing a Digital Camera

I will not lie, I want to take pictures when I'm in the picture or that of shooting. I love the camera, not because I'm taking a ridiculous amount of pictures of me but because I can capture moments in life that I'll forget. It could be the birthday of my little brother, or the last shot of my grandmother, or the Euro-trip my friends and I took. Whatever the occasion, you can bet I'll have my camera on me ... you never know what you missed! However, no matter what type of camera takes pictures.There is a $ 1000 camera that takes fancy pictures amazing then there is the humble $ 200 camera that gets the job done with magnificent panoramic photos to start, and the camera is the Canon PowerShot SD1200 IS. I have used many devices and have had many recommendations, but I never really bothered to buy a new one, until now.

On the one hand, it is a better replacement for the old camera I had for 5 years. I had a Nikon Coolpix, one of the earliest digital cameras out and it was an excellent investment. Not only does it take great pictures, but it was a Nikon.It cost me much money, but after 5 years of intensive use, all that money worth it. However, it died on me. I had to replace the batteries after a half-day use, the lens was stuck permanently whenever I turned on and the screen was so small I could barely see the picture that I had taken. I finally cracked and decided to invest in a new digital camera. After much research and waiting and drooling over all the expensive digital cameras, I opted for a Canon PowerShot SD1200 IS which had 10 megapixels.It not only has good reviews from other people, but the price is decent, especially in these difficult economic times when everything comes to investment and purchasing the right products to last.
