Delkin Devices DC40D-P Pop-Up Shade for Canon 40D

Delkin Devices DC40D P-Pop-Up Shade for Canon 40D Review

The Delkin Pop-Up Shade for Canon 40D has exceeded my expectations for a product of this type. First, once installed, you'll hardly notice it's there and it feels like its part of the camera. Construction is of superior quality and functionality is solid too.But the feature I like most, and I did not expect is the ability to detach the process just the pop-up cover, but the see-through coverage remains in place to continue provide protection for your LCD screen. This makes sense because at night it is really no need to use the pop-up because there is no sun to obscure your vision of the LCD. The shadow, I had (from Colin) did not have a pop-up removable. I have one of these on my Canon Rebel 350D and it fits perfectly. He planned for the 40D is constantly moving. The door is unnecessary and does not really help you see anything in bright light. You can also get a nasty scratch or cut you if you face bump into the door open.
